Looks like a hit piece on DeSantis and Republicans, in general. First, the Labor Participation Rate indicates about 37% of eligible workers are not seeking jobs in an extremely positive unemployment rate. Due to available safety nets. Why aren’t these people working in place of illegals? Hint, illegals have lowered labor rates to a point that it’s more lucrative to live on the dole. I believe most conservatives feel as I do, control our borders, then develop a guest worker program that meets our labor needs. While this is being done, they can follow the law, while earning a living. Continue removing criminal aliens to drain the swamp.

There is a lot of immigration hypocrisy to be had.
I think the simple solution would be to have a national ID card. Don't have it, no job or government services for you.

I think we have a new national ID card. It's called real ID drivers license and will be need to board any commercial Plane or a Passport instead of the real ID

Sgt Jim Belanus - Sort of. They are still issued by the states and have to have certain elements (my state was one of the last hold outs against implementation), but what I am proposing would up the ante to job verification - currently verified by easily forged documents - and voting.

Yes we are as well. This is a small population state and it's not easy to use forged documents. Everyone knows somebody and it's easy to get caught
