Transition can be one of the most challenging things a SM can ever go through. I feel if I can help even one person with theirs, I've succeeded.

I generally send an e-mail the day of or the next day. All communications after that is between myself and the HR team.

That's a good way to do it. When I'm the selection official, I remember the ones who thanked me afterward.
