"On May 22, 1971, the Rolling Stones album 'Sticky Fingers' started a four-week run at No.1 on the US charts, the group's second US No.1 album. The artwork for Sticky Fingers which, on the original vinyl release, featured a working zipper that opened to reveal cotton briefs, was conceived by American pop artist Andy Warhol. The cover, a photo of Joe Dallesandro's crotch clad in tight blue jeans, was assumed by many fans to be an image of Mick Jagger. The album also features the first usage of the "Tongue and Lip Design" designed by John Pasche."

Not sure time is on their side anymore. They cancelled/rescheduled some shows on upcoming tour so Mick could have heart surgery in US. He'll be 76 in July and they're still performing. Let that sink in. Backstage parties with Ensure protein shakes. No Depends yet, hopefully. This is one of my favorite albums by them, because of the Big Band genre.

I'd imagine the rest of their tour setlists will include "This Could Be the Last Time". Their last meal should be a "Beggars Banquet". Just glad the heart surgeon wasn't thinking "Let it Bleed". When they're gone I'll have "Sympathy For the Devil".
