I would have loved to have had this last year when I did two months planning tanker sorties at the AOC at Nellis for Red Flag.
I did not have a white board. I reinvented the wheel by making a spread sheet that tracked sorties. On the daily planning we had to figure out how much fu would be given out set up the sorties, and someone had to manually enter that.
I think the DOD needs to look for more internal solutions, the contracting process is busted.
