The U.S. military wants to use plants as spies—really

This is why I can't stand the press when it has to do with the military. Would it be so terrible if we kept a few things secret? We post troop movements back and forth, battle plans, etc. all on the news, CNN or elsewhere for everybody and their enemy to read all about it. When I was in OPSEC was the key to everything, now we post it everywhere. Gosh forbid the other side not know what we are doing, just because we think everyone over here should know.
