Good article about where the Navy is headed with the next version of LCS. That is the beauty of the platform, if you do away with the plug and play Mission Module the Mission Bay is left open for you to permanently the features that will make up the "Supper Frigate" LT Brad McInnis

Sounds cool, but if we can't figure out how to fix our training pipelines (Fitz, McCain, et al) none of the new toys will be worth a darn if they are laid up waiting to get into dry dock. How readily do you think the Navy would embrace drone ships?
