ATTN aspiring writers: The Writers Guild Foundation is now accepting applications for their 2018 session of the Veterans Writing Project. The yearlong mentorship program pairs veterans with WGA members, and includes a weekend-long retreat, monthly follow-up workshops, and special events. Applications are due Thursday, March 15.

Thank you for the post! I'll definitely be looking into this. My only question though (it was rather ambiguous on the subject); is it open to active duty members that are still in? It won't allow you to submit the application without a DD214, which I do not possess.
