That is interesting SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that Henry Webber served at the age of 60 in WWI.
My paternal grandfather was a lance corporal in the British Army in WWI who served at Gallipoli, Turkey and the in the trench warfare of France and Belgium where he was wounded. After the war he became a headmaster at a school and married my grandmother. His younger brother also served in the British army.
His younger brother George was killed with his wife during the Battle of Britain when a German bomb hit their house in southern England.
Thanks for sharing the life and times of Henry Webber.
