The COVID-19 death count has been artificially elevated to maximize fear. California’s fifth-most populous county revised its COVID-19 death count down by 22% after reviewing the cases for the last 18 months. Washington and Minnesota previously also lowered their counts. It is likely that overcounting happened across our country.
It clearly has been used to terrorize our population. I am also unimpressed by our country's nonuse of known effective treatments once people have gotten the disease.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I recall sitting in a strategy meeting with the Division President and Controller in preps for upcoming labor negotiations. At one point the Controller said, "Terry, it's fun with numbers. Just tell me what you need them to say." It has been a fun with numbers exercise since the virus became known. Anyone who can balance their checkbook and visits the CDCs own website can see enough variance to give them pause.
