While I enjoy a good laugh at conspiracy theories, this whole episode does indeed look like something is amiss. It is inconceivable that the guard on Epstein, given his profile, was this lax/ inept. As they say, the simplest explanation is usually correct, and in this case, it is a suicide. But it sure does look wrong.

Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon when he became President to save the nation from the agony of a protracted trial (and exposing the malfeasance, misfeasance, and nonfeasance with which the nation is governed). I suspect that some such thinking may have been in play here. It isn't necessary that some operative entered Epstein's cell and did the dirty deed. Epstein may have off'd himself of his own volition when given the opportunity or he may have received inducements. We'll never know. Sadly, I have such little regard for government that I am prepared to believe the worst in all things especially when miscreants like the Clintons are involved.
