Private companies are free to filter as they please as well as subscribers and members are free to not use the service. Legally of course this is in the confines of the 1st Amendment in which not all speech is free.

I agree, I'm not particularly fond of the idea that private companies are allowed to limit speech, however they are private and we have every right not to use them.
