I would agree with that statement. I know personally when I listen to music and a good song comes on, I feel different. After a stressful day, some time listening to my favorite bands can help me calm down.

SGT Ben Keen I agree. I also notice when certain music plays when I am driving, it is not good for my speedometer (and potentially my driving record).
