Please don't put any kind of oil on a burn. Never, ever, don't do it. Also, coconut oil absorbs quickly, so it's pretty terrible for massages unless it's mixed with other oils.

SGT (Join to see) - Oil traps heat in a fresh burn, and it serves no real purpose. Oil on a hot tar burn is the only exception as oil will help get that sticky mess off.

As for massage oils, nut oils work best, but any of these will do: sweet almond, safflower, apricot kernel, jojoba; thicker oils such as grapeseed, castor, wheat germ, or avocado. There's also a water soluble massage oil made of sunflower oil, wheat germ and coconut oils that will be much more friendly to your towels.

SSG Jessica Bautista - Doesn't that absorption rate change if its 100% organic?

Also, link to towel-friendly oil ?

SGT (Join to see) - The properties of the oil are not different in organic vs. non-organic. Methods of extraction and processing will have more effect on texture and smell.

Melrose H2Oil Water Dispersible Massage Oil is also an excellent choice, but it's an Australian brand.

SP5 Christine Conley - I concur on the aloe. Egg whites aren't recommended for the same reason eating raw eggs isn't recommended.
