This cheap 3D-printed home is a start for the 1 billion who lack shelter

I'm sorry to be a Debby-downer on this...I think the idea is a great one for 3rd world countries. But the photo misrepresents what you get from the 3D printed cement. There will be no roof made of wood, there will be no windows, or electricity, or plumbing. It will be a room of cement, with holes for windows (if you can afford those). But I think you are right, A1C Ian Williams , for many impoverished people in 3rd world nations, this could represent a place of their own, protection from the elements, and potential security for their family. A place to start a life, perhaps.
