Customer choice is a good idea. Interesting they won't submit the device for testing to Verizon. Verizon requires all devices submitted to our test lab as a bad device can ruin the wireless network for all customers attached to the same cell tower.

I didn't know that. Makes me wonder if there's an issue with costs or underhanded malicious acts.

It does cost the vendor to submit the device, doubt that anyone is trying to prevent the resale. Most manufacturers use trade in programs to recapture old devices.

SGT (Join to see) If it worked on Sprint I would gladly pay for that device over paying the replacement cost for a damaged iPhone. Since it doesn't work on Sprint, guess my daughter will just have to deal with it.
