You could put it and the LAV-25 side by side and I couldn't tell you the difference (I have the LAV-25 on my military license, along with the M-113 and M-60). I wouldn't what they changed to make it the LAV-25.

But according to the article they are getting rid of it in a couple years to be replaced with the German Boxer.
