Interesting poll of the troops. Lets break it down: ...one in four service members worries he may issue orders that violate military rules or traditions. That might happen but lets look at what has been going on for the past 8 years... most recently the Navy, over the sincere objections of over 100,000 Navy personnel who signed an on line petition to the White House not to make any changes in their career rating system... went ahead and did it.(violate military rules or TRADITIONS)... we could go on but lets look at some of the other responses...
"More than 27 percent said that having Trump as commander in chief will negatively affect their military job or mission. Among officers, 39 percent expressed those concerns. Among women, 55 percent worry their jobs will be adversely affected." Really... do they expect to see him at the FOB... directing ops in the field, turning wrenches in the motor park or perhaps launching aircraft from the deck of the Harry S. Truman. I submit that if their job is affected by the CinC they are really close to the flame... but most have a long Chain of Command to follow so I say do what you always do, do it well and the nation will thank you. but lets move on...
"In September, he hinted that he would dismiss or sideline generals that disagreed with his plans to combat terrorism, comments that upset critics." Lets look at history for this one... Obama / McChrystal... Obama/Flynn... Obama and a list to long to mention here... Truman and MacArthur... Lincoln and McClellan... Oh, by the way Washington fired a few along the way as well. So really nothing new here its the way the system works. We all have our favorites and we don't like it when it happens... but you have to buck up buttercup.
The percentage of troops surveyed that are "worried" about a Trump CinC parallels the percentages in the results that voted for Clinton. Safe to say that these service members voted for Clinton. But it is time to remember the oath they took, lace up their boots, and get ready to serve the nation in the best manner possible -- and I am sure they will.

Did anybody ask them what if Hillary had been elected if they would have been worried? I have served under 4 Presidents and I was worried about how it would effect me every time.
Now let's look at facts. We know know that pollsters are worthless. That is a fact. Ask Clinton how the polls worked for her. We know that 61% of all military personnel voted for Trump. So if this was true why would they have voted for Trump? Next, where did these pollsters take a poll. If it was at the Pentagon you bet they are worried. If they asked an Airman on the flight line at Minot then it would be relevant. I'll bet anybody money that they did not poll anybody in Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Stewart. They polled some paper pushers at HQ, not people with a CIB on their chest.
Last, our military has taken many steps back since Obama has been President. The upper ranks of the military are now a fat group of bureaucrats and not war fighters! Generals have been made generals based off their political support for the current administration and not their ability to lead. Why do you think so many generals endorsed Clinton? They were jockeying for their spot on the food chain and they are all out of a job.
Trump needs to not only clean house in DC, but the Pentagon too! They need to be worried!

Funny how headlines work...how "clickable" would the link have been if the headline would have read, "Poll of U.S. military personnel suggests that 3/4ths of troops are not worried about life under Donald Trump"???
