Do smear campaigns work? Sadly, they often do. It will be interesting to see if the campaign to smear Betsy DeVos, who is nominated by the President to be Secretary of Education, will be one of the successful ones.

I am 100% for Betsy DeVos. Even with some of her "perceived" short comings. She has been working with education for years so don't tell me she knows nothing about education. That is a fallacy. No, she does not have a teaching degree that I know of. Neither do I. Yet I taught Marines several classes throughout my career. She does not have an Administration degree. Neither do I. Yet I administered and tracked all the training in our Platoon for years. She has a PASSION for kids and education. That is enough for me.

There are plenty of options out there that support school choice who are far more qualified than she is. Her fumbling's during the hearings is inexcusable.
