Always enjoy meeting the cadets at West Point. This week we talked with three seniors from the NYC area who will graduate on Saturday and commission in the Army. We asked each about why they selected West Point, some of the challenges they faced, what was their course of study, the branch of the Army they will join, and how proud their families will be on Saturday. Secretary of Defense Mattis will be the Commencement speaker.

It is good to get the younger members into the Vet Orgs. American Legion is the largest with 2.2million members. That is how you influence Congress!

Thank you both for your service to our nation. Every time dues are paid you are supporting the Legions effort to support active duty military, lobby Congress on veterans benefits including health care and education, tecognize the historical service of veterans, and promote youth through Boys State, Girls State, Public speaking, and Legion baseball. why we are proud to tell the story at Sons of the American Legion Radio.

26 years for me...and now I am retired, I just stepped in to be the Adjutant of China Post 1, Am Legion. It is the only post in exile, since the Commies took our post home in 1948. I did check on the post home in 2003...but since it is a Chinese court house, I decided it might not be smart to enter...and I was still working for USGov.
