It really takes some time when you first start carrying to get comfortable doing it. It often takes time to figure out where on the body you want to carry, what holster works best, how sit, move etc. while carrying, and how to stop the little things folks do that give away the fact they are carrying concealed.

And what to wear and how to wear it so you can be comfortable and avoid revealing the fact that you carry.

So very true David. Always have to figure out what I am going to wear, whether tucked or untucked, etc.

I would like to add and be very adamant about one thing. It is not in anyone's best interest that you buy a gun and bullets then just throw it in a drawer and never use it, nor clean it regularly. That is the worse thing to do. Please, take the time to regularly go to a range and get use to handling it, or on your own property if you have the ability and right.

Be competent and confident are important. Knowing what situations are a threat and knowing when and how you react are also important. Go to the range, but have a plan.
