I was an Ordnance Officer and one of my jobs was running the Joint Small Arms branch that trained all small arms repairmen in all branches of the service. We trained them on all weapons and not once did we train them on fixing "Assault Weapons". There is no such thing as an Assault Weapon. Assault is an action. If they ever passed any such law it would be a very slippery slope because there is no definition of what an Assault Weapon is. The morons in charge could call any weapon they wanted an Assault Weapon and ban it. However, I don't see that happening because the American People will not let that happen.
This is my Gun and my Permit and people that work for us, politicians, will never take either one of them.

Thanks for your knowledgeable response, Major! Unfortunately, the democrats will not stop. Even if they got this through with the help of Paul RINO, they wouldn't stop there; baby steps. Are they coming for your guns, yes they are.

PO2 Mark Saffell I agree, we can call them all we want, but ultimately, it's uniformed constituencies that have to be educated.

i can see the price of an AR-15 jump. Been wanting to build my own for some time now and I'm thinking I better do it soon. Nephew built a nice one for less than $600.00. His GF wanted it so he is doing another.

The scariest or one of the scariest parts of this is the definition of Assault Weapon. That has always been the issue and people that know zero about guns jump right in the middle. I actually heard one Dem wanting to ban any weapon that was semi-auto. Really? It showed he knew zero about guns or what he was talking about.
