Today is the 37th Anniversary of the Three Mile Island (TMI) nuclear power plant accident, next to our campus, in 1979, that among other things lead to the creation of FEMA that today is a component of DHS.

Definitely a day that changed our course - for the good. Forced us into upping our oversight of something that could be so utterly destructive. Fortunately this incident wasn't as bad as it could have been, but we don't EVER want to see another Chernobyl.

Remember it well... the Nuke Power Plants In Charlotte were all Put on Lock down and security was Increased over Fears of Protesters...
