She's speaking of the same concept that hardcore gym rats preach - verbally tell yourself what you want to happen.
"This sucks" vs. "I love the way this sucks" . Marines aren't the only ones that do that.
Sarcasm does have a purpose, especially if you find the positive in it.
I would try the arm thing but I'm in pain right now. Got any more similar to this ? Suggestions for this "Miracle Morning" thing ?

It's true, what she's talking about isn't necessarily new or unique. But, I do like the way she talked about it and gave a simple but effective way to demonstrate the power of what she is saying.
There are more people who focus on the negatives of sarcasm than those who don't in my experience, so I think it's important to bring an awareness to the concepts she discusses.
In terms of The Miracle Morning, it's the title of a book written by Hal Elrod. This guy had a catastrophic event happen to him where he had to battle back from extremely serious injuries to function again. His book is really a culmination of things he learned on that journey that he has cleverly put together to help him continue to grow and develop, and now to help others. It's well worth the read! I've been working on them and I am finding some success with them. I'm still new to it, but I think it works. There is also a community on FB of folks who are also working on things with this too. You might want to check out the book!
