Today, March 8th, 2017 is International Women's Day. As I discovered this fact on my Google Home Page, I instantly harkened back to a similar celebration - National Brotherhood Week - also designed to unleash our inner angels for a day. Just image that for one day women can live free of fear of being stoned or the victims of honor killings. Right? Yeah, right. Meanwhile in western nations where women enjoy the greatest freedoms and equality year round, the hue and cry will be the loudest. Alas, such are the injustices surrounding us. I think I'll just hug my wife and daughter and granddaughters, and wish them a happy International Women's Day. Then I'll pray that America once again takes the lead in preaching by example the joys of liberty and equality for all, and no longer give aid and comfort to those places and organizations that further the subjugation and affliction of women around the world (with might include the UN)
