There is a method in place in our country to remove Legislators that have "broken faith", it's not impeachment. Get them out before it gets that far. Vote. We will all have that opportunity very soon. Primaries are coming up and the November generals aren't that far off. You're 18-21 and been told you can't buy a gun, and don't like it. Go vote that rat bast... out of office. Older folks, so you forgot that 3rd cousins name and now you can't own a weapon, and don't like it. Go vote that rat bast... out of office. Go vote, Go vote, Go vote. Quitchurbitchin, Go vote.

Definitely. Some people think only the "Big" elections matter. Stay informed and vote, even if it's country or city level. It all effects you; this is your chance to make our prevent change. If that's not getting you where you want; run for office.

Just took my boy scouts shooting today ages 11-14 they love it we go about once a month pistol and rifle today

TSgt David L. funny you mention that. Before we finished our first range day, one of the roving gentlemen who does safety checks and informational talks about weapon systems suggested that we start at a .22 to help her with the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. I felt dumb at the moment but between you both, I'm getting her a .22 until she is older. And thank you for the suggestion!

SFC (Join to see) - Glad to have backed up the range officials recommendation. While the AR isn't brutal it still may be too much for her. HOWEVER, you could get one and a .22 conversion kit (CMMG has them with magazine for less than $200) so you could enjoy the 5.56mm and she could shoot .22 cal until she was ready to move up.
If you want to get a dedicated .22 rifle there are AR-15/22s that are .22 only. A regular .22 rifle I would recommend the Ruger 10/22. No recoil and ultra reliable. I'm not pimping for CMMG or Ruger, just recommending products I have experience with. Good luck with y'all's shooting! Let us know how it goes.

In regards to too young or old, I use two realistic scenarios to help my liberal friends understand why I support the 2A.
18 year old high schooler who gets pregnant by abusive boyfriend, gets kicked out of the home. She can't defend herself because despite the fact she can join the service to kill people with a gun, she can't defend herself and her unborn child from the boyfriend as a civilian.
Elder man who refused to move away from an ever changing neighborhood because it was his home since he got back home from his time in service. His state may refuse anyone over the age of 60 to legally own a gun, but he would be sent to jail if he used one when being jumped and assaulted.
Vote them out!

Elections are one sure way to get rid of the politicians that don’t represent OUR VIEWS. Get rid of the bad/worthless politicians before they can do anymore damage to OUR COUNTRY!! Please God, Bless America once again.
