That is ironic. The number one is Tinnitus. That was my first claim with the VA. It was disapproved as I had nothing in my medical records to support it. I had just figured while on active duty it would be a waste of time to bother as there is nothing they could have done for me.
So, I missed out. Mea culpa.

The VA's decision on my claim was that my hearing was just fine and the reason I was having problems hearing was that the rest of the world mumbles. There is one thing I'm sure of. The day I dont hear this high pitched feedback I know I'm dead.

SGT (Join to see) - As I learned (the hard way) tinnitus is hard to diagnose. When I went into the VA for a hearing test, the technician said my hearing was fine. As she was walking out the door she asked if I had a ringing in my ears. I started to reply but she was gone. I said "No, but I do have a very loud hissing noise all the time.'' She only heard the no I guess.
Anyway, I just let it drop.

MSG Stan Hutchison That is the problem. As someone who was trained to repair radars down to the component level it seems to be a rather simple process when you look at the brain as a circuit.
