Top general: U.S. strategy against ISIS in Libya makes no sense

I like the candor of the current nominee to replace GEN David Rodriguez as head of AFRICOM LTC David Brown "When asked by the committee's chairman, Sen. John McCain, an Arizona Republican, whether the U.S. had a strategy for Libya, Marine Lt. Gen. Thomas Waldhauser said he didn't know about one."

The General reminds me of that song "Tell it Like it is". He did not mince words, straight to the heart of the matter, and what is that you may ask? Well our "beloved leader" put boots on the ground but will not allow them to act. More or less same story in Iraq and Syria, could it be that the "JV" are his team?

What strategy? Didn't the President already admit that we don't have one?
