Tried to read the article 5 times, but it kept returning me to RP.
However, what I did gather was the claim was their DOD released tons of electronic documents as part of discovery, but the attempts of the Admiral's defense team weren't able to search those documents using key words because DOD had used acronyms or "code" names. Further, DOD had refused to provide a list of the meaning of those acronyms and words by claiming an exception. The effect of the acronyms and code words make searching the evidence very inefficient, thus obstructing the defense.
I see the Canadian government attorneys use the same tactics US government attorneys use to obstruct. These tactics go against the spirit and intent of the law IMHO.
