The Navy then came back and said "no solo no, pero el infierno no" (not only no, but hell no). Apparently Submarines were closed and only Corpsman could transfer out without a demonic sacrifice. Strangely (stupidly) enough, the Navy honored the silliness of their language system and I got extra money per month for speaking an extra language!
