IMO, for us to "solve" the race issue, we must first acknowledge there is an issue.

Yes, I acknowledge it, and so does the article, and the book. I think that's why Mr Williams wrote a book on it. Race is an acknowledged issue. If you don't think it is, you must be living under a rock in Antarctica.

Col Joseph Lenertz - Not I, Col. I have been active in racial issues since I was 18 and helping register voters in Mississippi back in 1960.
But it seems whenever the issue comes up on some of these discussion forums, it is far too often denied or made to appear insignificant.
Also, we always get the "both sides" comments, which is a diversion.
