A good friend of mine posted this on her Facebook page; she's an IMA reservist with my old unit, and an expert at innovation and trying to bring ideas to forefront of the military instead of relying on what 'used to work'. I personally wish I had seen this 6-8 months ago when I first realized I would be getting medically boarded out of the military, because my situation was a whole lot of hurry up and wait. I was fortunate in that I was able to take TAPs right away and had plenty of time to work through it, but this could have helped me while I was sitting around at my job, transitioning my responsibilities and wondering what exactly I was supposed to be doing! @

Interesting and I can relate to your status. I went through a turbulent time and couldn't think well enough to plan my departure.

Absolutely! My medical retirement date was friday, so naturally I'm going back in my mind and going through the list of 'what if's' and could have/should haves and making notes...and as I see articles like this, I'm saving them for future use and trying to spread the word.

I would add the VA Benefits Brief 1 and 2 as well. Also I can get you the link to the VA Intake Sites if I can find it as well.
