I'm obv glad, certainly...I merely send this in as a contrast to that, one that, customarily, those who constantly want chiropractic rarely consider as an alternate, and, as of now, completely accepted possibility, that's already been in place for decades...I'd wanted this really badly, I could never get to be allowed to do it, however, I looked into it quite heavily, and would very seriously commend it to all of you, for myriad reasons...I've got exceptionally high regard for good chiropractic, esp done with what is termed "activator therapy", which I'd been exposed to a good deal while I'd been in my doctoral allied-health program, by a chiropractor who'd lectured where I'd trained, before my total perm disability...I esp have extremely high regard for residency-trained chiropractic, particularly in chiropractice orthopedics and radiology...I'm merely pointing out that, while my wife goes to an exquisitely trained and incredibly experienced chiropractor, I've also had her go to physicians supervising teams of L.Acs. for acupuncture, in addition to anesthesiology/pain-mgmt for outpatient surgical procedures, esp epidural blocks and radiofrequency (RF) ablations...I'd just point this out to all of you, what I'd sent in here, for that reason...I'd also very seriously add physiatry/rehab-med into the mix, as well, another area that is often overlooked, aside from neurology and straight orthopedics, I trained with all of those, and can assure all of you that osteopathic manipulative med/therapy (OMM/OMT) is a rather different approach, plus, chiropractic was actually derived from it by DD Palmer, the first major chiropractor in the US, who essentially ripped off the techniques of Andrew Taylor Still, MD, who actually invented osteopathic manipulation, his autobiography is still available, and is actually quite interesting reading, if you all might ever care to look through it at all....

I'd also been told, though haven't yet seen, that independent L.Acs. may well apparently "possibly" be approved for independent practice by Medicare...please understand, I have NOT yet seen anything about that, I'd merely been told by someone clinical that such approval "might" soon be allowed, without physician supervision...I'd found that quite amazing, however, as I'd explained, I am NOT yet certain if that has yet, in fact, been allowed, or, that it positively would be, my wife and I had merely "heard" about the "possibility", nothing more...however, there most definitely ARE physicians who exist solely to treat by acupuncture, we go to a husband-and-wife team who do, they were dual trained, both in Asia, as well as in the U.S., they're obv a quite rare pair, however, we've known of them near us for several yrs, they've treated both of us in the past, esp my wife, more than myself, however, both of us have been treated by them...as physicians, NOT solely as L.Acs., whom they personally supervise, as I'd said....
