It's sad, but there are some rights I do not exercise when dealing with the police. I am used to the drawn gun and nebulous reasons for being stopped. My loss of dignity momentary or not is better than being shot.

No American should have to deal with that. We as Americans should not have to fear getting shot unless we are directly threatening a police officer's life. That being said, there are cases of stupidity of course where getting shot can be justified - sudden movements in a vehicle or "reaching" our of sight can be one of those cases. Police need to see your hands. However, unless you are suspected of committing a crime (a real crime, not some fictionalized idea that the Police Officer makes up to violate your rights) your rights should be fully protected. Police are a very shady and dirty community. As I said before, I have family members in law enforcement and they brag about it.. Something needs to be implemented that changes Law Enforcement training and oversight throughout the country..

That was one scared cop and there's nothing more dangerous than a scared cop. Why was he scared? Sadly, the video is incomplete but from what is shown appears that he may be afraid of the color of the skin. Okay, there is some justification for a cop to be concerned with the color of a person's skin, but a cop who lacks the confidence in his ability to handle a situation should either receive more training or not be a cop.

Lmao.. people can't accept the fact that the officer was wrong even up until the end of the video. They say "I need to see it from the start." Lmao
