Troop Life

Troop Life will not be a forum style community or have the type of layout RP does. The funds raised are for the development, design, and launch of both the web host and mobile app. From what I can see, RP is great, extremely stiff as far as the layout and interaction however. TL is an actual social network, not a question board or recruiting ground specifically but will incorporate those things as additions. Think of your favorite media outlets, bundled into one place....then look at RP. See the difference?

SGT (Join to see) - No, I don't. Forums are great for archiving conversations and updating information. For those that want to be more interactive, they meet outside of RP, e-mail, PM, or call each other. Also, IRC is something that RP is looking into. In the meantime, I've created and shared instructions for joining an IRC channel.

Oh, and my favorite media outlet is Rallypoint.

I also don't understand why recreate the wheel when you could help improve this. Have you shared your complaints with RP?

And that's great that you enjoy RP, to each his own!! I'm not attempting to recreate the wheel big sarge, merely create my own preferred outlet. Think about it..before there was facebook, there was myspace. Mark Z. could have "helped improve" that platform, but he wanted his own. Same with twitter creator, and any other creator. If you don't agree, don't support, easy as that!
