Not sure what, if anything, is surprising? I expect there to thousands of people staying in their positions, who is surprised that 50 senior people would be in those thousands?
Sir, where were you ever getting the idea that there was going to be mass firings?
Who are you thinking was underestimating the running of the country? As negative as the media and Left are, they are not even implying that the transition was not progressing smoothly? I have heard some concern about not liking some nominees. Have heard complaints that there are too many retired generals...I guess because generals in the military are not used to leading bureaucracies? I was hearing some grumbling about committees not getting all the vetting information in time, but that ended when it was realized the Trump nominees had provided all their information in a timely matter but Obama administration officials were just failing to get it completed on time?

Sorry Sir. I thought you were the one that stated 'They went from "you're all fired" to "can you stay a bit longer"' My mistake.

I didn't realize the use of "you're all fired" in reference to 50 positions addressed in this article was equitable to "mass firings" of thousands as you stated; I can see how that can confuse some people on the difference between figurative and literal speech.
BTW, vetting was not completed, information was not submitted timely and much of the packets were incomplete as we saw during hearings this week as more financial and conflict of interest details that was not disclosed in submitted packets was discovered. Your misdirection and misinformation will not work here. Some of us actually watch, listen and read multiple sources not just left and right wing propaganda. And ask Congress about too many retired Generals, apparently paying those lifetime retirement salaries was breaking the budget leading to military retirement reform unless you really believe all the lower ranking retired military was the problem.

Sorry Sir. I guess I should not have started off being such a nit picker...oh wait, that was not me? Thank you attempting to speak down on me, but if you are going to do that you probably should correct the spelling and grammatical errors and make sure you are correctly reading what you are replying to?
For the record, I did actually watch some of the nomination hearing because of some of the edited clips I was seeing on some of the nominees...of course the Progressives on the Left and their lapdogs in the Establishment media machine continue distort the truth, but why would we expect them to learn from their recent failures?

You're welcome. Always glad to return the same level of condescending comments to a simple question and post.

The truth of the matter is that no matter how you feel this country has been administered over the last 8 years, There will always be some people whose job performance would have to be looked at as satisfactory or even well done by those who oppose the party in charge. Anyone who thinks that there is nobody in leadership doing a good job is delusional and will never see the forest through the trees.
