It appears that President Trump is filling his close advisers with the best of America's Generals, which gives me hope that he'll soon be purging the Flag ranks of its many politically correct, paper pushing, butt-kissers. FYI: McMasters literally wrote the book on how the politicians F'"""""d up the Vietnam War.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - re: Have you read it? Yes, although it was several years ago. His main thesis was that Robert McNamara (civilian head of the DoD) withheld information from President Johnson who thought he was smarter than everyone else. Although he also points a finger at the Joint Chief's who followed the SecDef down the proverbial primrose path.
