Nothing like being on both sides of the fence with Manafort and the firing of James Comey.

Capt Dwayne Conyers - respectfully, regardless of whatever he’s done or how you or I feel about him, the President isn’t going to spend a day in prison. If all of this circus comes to a head, and he’s facing any type of impeachment or subsequent indictment, it’s a safe bet that we can expect a Nixon-type scenario.

He’ll leave office on his own terms, and his successor will pardon him for any crimes he may have committed. President Ford called the Watergate fiasco, “a tragedy in which we all have played a part. It could go on and on and on, or someone must write the end to it. I have concluded that only I can do that, and if I can, I must”.

He established the precedent, and its likely to be followed. (Call me cynical, but it will also be followed because anyone that becomes President is bound to be a bit dirty. If he gets caught, he wants to know that ultimate top-cover is there to bail his *ss out. So if/when his predecessor is caught, he bails him out).
