Good job Trump! Get your paperwork in order, get your citizenship the legal way or go back home!

There is no legal way for those people except for a small subset fortunate enough to live in the ninth circuit.
This is simply barbaric, a decision that will rip apart families, rip parents from their US citizen children.
These people have been in this country with protection for 17 years, and NOW we want to force them to leave?
By the way, the "legal way" you speak of doesn't apply to anyone who has unlawful presence, which most of these people do from BEFOER their TPS status was granted in 2001, so to "get their citizenship the legal way" requires leaving and waiting out a TEN YEAR bar to return. So they can drop their 5-year-old US citizen daughter off at kindergarten, kiss her goodbye and (hopefully, if they have another child who will be 21) be back in time for her senior prom.
We are a nation of immigrants, only extreme-right xenbophobic assholes currently-in-power have this nasty agenda to to MAWA (make America White again).

17 years seems like a lot of time to get things in order to go back home after the home country dug out of the disaster. It has been the failed policies of DC that caused this mess. Trump just happens to be the one to clean it up since no one else will.

As some have said these fine folks have had 20 years to get with the program and could have all been legalized citizens by now on their own. Instead they chose to live here on a special privilege basis and take advantage of the US. Now they gripe because they can't have it both ways.

Believe me, as an immigration attorney and former INS and ICE senior special agent when I tell you that those who could have been "legalized" for the most part did so years, if not decades ago. They aren't trying to have anything "both ways", they are just trying to stay with their families instead of returning to a third world shithole and waiting there for ten years, which is the current "legal" method for them to immigrate.
