SSG (Join to see) - I don't think there's anything to oppose, it's the President's Council, he gets to pick his advisors. But it does seem political and like it puts politics over facts...and subsequently, national security.

You are correct , smoke, we don't want to politicize and he should be able to make those, decisions, but with some exceptions to the impact it has on mission and on our overall approach. I cant help but think the cos challenged their vision and that's why he was replaced. One of the most frustrating things about our oath is that most of us never read the art. of freedom that we pledge to protect, I believe ifwe are to defend these rights properly we need to be intimately familiar with what we protect.
