SSG(P) (Join to see) thanks for the share of an important National issue. Truly of the most informative.

@SPC Cody Voye For some reason it's not letting me tag you.
I agree, there should have been movement on this right after Chattanooga.
I'm glad the military may get the latitude to allow SMs to carry on base, but it should be done selectively. I've seen SMs that shouldn't have had a weapon issued to them at all. Period! Not an age thing, but a competence thing. Soup sammiches. Misspelled on purpose. POGs. We've all seen them. Not able to show up for PT or duty on time. Your 1st Sergeants and senior enlisted know these cats very well. A negligent discharge could happen to anyone, but why tempt fate?
Hopefully this comes across as I intended.

SSG Donald H "Don" Bates - Thanks. It's just that there a window licking, mouth breathers in every group. The shit would never stop rolling down if we had a friendly fire ND on a base or post. Neither the military or the gun community needs that as an example.
