Disappointing only if you ever believed he has any respect for Veterans. His actions from bone spur days to today indicate he has no desire to be with or support anything to do with the military. The increase in military spending in the budget this year is pure political smoke and mirrors.

They put the budget reconciliation on themselves, and they could just have easily lifted it--since they were R-controlled the last 6 years (now 8). McConnell was very open about not doing anything that made BO look good even if it would help the nation. Support for the military was always a political thing, which is selfish, but not we are already seeing over half of what was put in taken out next year, along with a 5% cut for vets. I hope he changes his mind, but they are preparing planning budgets accordingly. I told people this during the campaign, but most people don't understand the Federal Budget process, nor did they care to question it.

No, he's got plenty of security, as do the other world leaders who were there. He sent John Kelly. Sorry, I know you love him, but he demonstrated a total disdain for veterans and total selfishness. And he's never visited troops overseas. And he's asked for a $33B cut in defense next year, and 5% from the VA. If this had been Obama, you would call him out on it.

Are you kidding me? POTUS has enough security to go and do whatever he wants and if there was a true security issue the rest of the world leaders wouldn't have attended.
