Collateral damage is for non-military assets like civilian buildings (schools, homes, etc) and populace. Military personnel and facilities are considered lawful targets and not factored into collateral damage. President Trump decided that the deaths of 150 Iranian military personnel was not appropriate for a $125 million unmanned drone. But of course Trump haters are going to complain about something.

Oh ok. Thanks for clearing up what I already knew. So he was concerned about killing military personnel. I guess when the strike was planned nobody told him then huh? He alone saved these 150 people from dying and had to let the world know.

You didn't answer my question. But I guess your fawning for his every move clouds YOUR judgement. He's always right. We'll agree to disagree.

So you agree that no one in the Pentagon gave him a collateral damage assessment? Wouldn't the targets be military sites? I'm not buying it.
