It has been a long time since the SS had an outsider step in to run it. It may be just what the doctor ordered. The SS has had some real discipline breakdowns over the last few years and in their line of work the consequences can be catastrophic. The prostitutes while traveling on the job, security breaches at the white house etc are inexcusable. A Marine General may be able to straighten them up a bit.
