And? "Tax law allows employers to deduct consulting fees as a business expense"

Need to get that TDS checked, you may blow a blood vessel.

SSgt William Quinn - You described your assumptions. You don't know that "zero proof" exists that Trump has been engaging in tax fraud. You're just assuming that because there has yet to be any indictments and/or convictions. That is not proof that everything he did was legit. He's under investigation by both the IRS and the DA's office up in NY. Time will tell whether or not "zero proof" exists. Right now, you don't know that.

LTC Kevin B. - I believe you are the guilty one. This is your first post on this thread. "Assuming it was legitimate consulting..."

Innocent till you assume and push that narrative? Got it. Article does not state or allege any wrong doing.

SSgt William Quinn - Actually, you were making that first assumption when you tried to definitively state that consulting fees are deductible in your attempt to ridicule the original poster. My comment was referring to the implied assumption in your statement. English is not your friend.

quite frankly, I don't care. If she falls into the consulting category for IRS purposes, it's legal. I don't give a shit if he paid $1.00 in taxes, as long as it's legal. anything at this point is speculating. You all act as if he is guilty of things before there is even an investigation, and even IF he did some shady things, it would just be a fine and whatever taxes are owed. If any of you think for a minute that he would go to jail for tax evasion just doesn't understand tax laws. The IRS wants the money, not to imprison people.
