This article ignores that suspected accounts were suspended until they are proven to belong to a person vice simply removing them. Further, there are some terrible things that have been prevalent on the internet that really need to be stopped. Mr. Obama was right that it is like the wild wild west on the internet. Identity thieves, ransomware, child pornography, execution videos are all things that have no business in society yet can be found on the internet. The end of free speech came with the attacks on September 11th 2001 when Americans decided that catching a single terrorist was worth giving up their privacy to the monitoring that still goes on. The reality is that once the government starts taking, it doesn't stop. That is not just in the United States, that is throughout history. This Russia investigation is not a witch hunt, or fake news. This is an adversary nation sowing chaos in any manner that it can. Causing internal strife within a country has a destabilizing effect. The more chaos the better.
