This is what I meant when I said in an earlier post that we as a nation don't know how to be gracious. Trump won, in spite of how anyone feels or hopes. There is no need to go to the states he won to brag about it or rub the losers faces in it. IMHO, all this does is waste money, gives his enemies something else to use against him in the coming months and for the 2020 elections, and shows how it appears that Trump needs the roar of the crowd to validate himself.

You say that Reagan would have but did he?
No.
Why?
Because, even though I didn't like him, he was gracious. He didn't feel the need to rub Carter's nose in it. Being a winner is like being a king, IMHO. If you have to keep telling people you're king, you aren't.
Also, would you have the same sentiment if Clinton won and she did a "victory lap?"
I thought not
