That's possibly the most accurate observation that he's ever uttered. Sadly, I don't believe that the impending meteor of death would coax the Trump-haters to share the same shelter with us

He is correct, that is the fastest way to unify people, but, that unity usually doesn't last forever.

SPC Martin Wiesiolek - it depends on what your perception of who is dividing who is. Should Trump kow tow to other people when they attack him? Will that "unify" the nation? This nation was polarized before Trump and solely putting the burden on Trump will accomplish nothing.

SPC Martin Wiesiolek - I would agree to a point, but, there are other influencers that want this toxic environment and will do everything to maintain or increase it. I would venture a guess that Trump might be trying to fix it and if he is, we'll have to see where we are in a year to have a more accurate observation of the nation being unified.
