I was involved in some of the early trips with the INF treaty. It was amazing but in the beganing everyone was trying to be good. Surprise....they RU were cheating a lot in the recent years.

This is exactly why Presidential Term Limits are good. Obama for three or four terms would have sealed our fate as a second rate or third rate power in the world.

How were they cheating? Did they violate the treaty? I can’t trust anything 45 says. He lies every time he opens his mouth. If the Russians maneuvered outside of the treaty limits that’s to be expected of any agreement.

However, that is not the main problem. The INF Treaty was a bilateral agreement between Russia and the U.S. but not the Chinese. However that treaty prevents the US from countering the rapid and accelerating Chinese military buildup.

Don't let your personal feelings for a particular president affect the way you logically process information.
"If the Russians maneuvered outside of the treaty limits that’s to be expected of any agreement." No, while it is commonly done it isn't something we should expect or tolerate. The long term cheating by the RU is the very reason why current steps are being taken. The fact that we have chosen in the past to ignore the little things is why we now must do something more drastic to fix them. This is neither a Republican or a Democrat issue. It is a security issue; yours and mine. We aren't perfect, but we tend to hold more closely to the letter and spirit of international negotiated settlements than 99% of other nations.
