Trump Signed 96 Laws In 2017. Here Is What They Do And How They Measure Up

Why, why, why does Trump have to say that everything he does is the "best in the history of the world"? The biggest crowds at an inauguration--not by a long shot. The largest electoral college victory in decades--uh, no. Both Obama and Bush had bigger electoral college margins. Greatest stock market rally ever--no. The S&P 500 is up 18% in Trump's first 11 months. It was up 20% in Bush's first 11 months, and 38% in Obama's. Now the most legislation passed in decades--not just a complete lie, but he is actually the lowest since Eisenhower. What is it about this man that compels him to take every public occasion to lie about himself and his achievements? He did a very nice thing by recognizing the sacrifice of the first responders who are working overtime this holiday period to protect him, including personally paying for their meals. Why can't he just let that stand on its own? Why does he always have to insert some completely false bullshit, that causes people to focus on his lies instead of his actual accomplishments?

There are many reasons why counting bills is not a valuable measurement of productivity, but since he is falsely bragging that he is #1, then lets point out his lie...

So all he really did was modify existing law and repealed some things. The only significant piece of legislation he signed is the tax bill.
