This was a powerful speech, followed by one from a 98 year old WWII vet who can deliver a more inspiring speech than Biden could ever dream of. In a little over a month I will once again honor the 13 American Servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice as we withdrew from Afghanistan, and betrayed all those who deployed there, their families, and the Afghan people. In the past I would hike 13 mile route with a ruck sack. I have since had to do away with the ruck as my back issues can no longer take it. This year I intend to swim 13 pool lengths (a little over a 300m), ride 13 miles, and walk 13K (my runs are limited to 5Ks due to the back).
